14 Days to Go — and the Panic Is Real!

It’s official: we got our bib numbers!

Which means… this is actually happening.

No more pretending we just signed up “for fun” or that we might still “train a bit more before it gets serious.” Nope, the countdown has started, and reality hit like a hill at kilometer 17.

The closer race day gets, the more our thoughts sound like:

“Do I need a new running watch?“

“Maybe I’d run faster with a lighter vest?”

We’ve entered that dangerous pre-race phase where every gadget suddenly looks essential. Garmin watch? Probably life-changing. Running vest? Obviously aerodynamic. Energy gels? We don’t even like them, but they make us feel professional.

Somehow, our shopping carts are filling up faster than our legs are moving.

We’re half excited, half terrified, and fully committed, to both the run and the mission behind it. Every single step brings us closer to helping kids in Angola get the school supplies they deserve.

A huge thank-you to everyone who’s already donated, your support means the world to us (and keeps us running when our legs want to quit!).

Now, let’s see if we can take it one step further:

Can we reach 14 more donations and break the EUR 2’000 mark?

Every contribution, no matter the size, gets us closer to the finish line — both on the course and in our goal to make a real difference.

So yes, we might be losing our nerves… but at least we’re doing it for a good cause.
